Research Assistant
Baron is seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to work directly with firm leadership to advance mission-critical initiatives that drive growth, research, and strategic priorities. The position combines analysis, coordination, and initiative, and is ideal for an individual who thrives on responsibility, precision, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Baron operates at the intersection of policy, business, and strategy, where analytical precision and speed of execution matter equally. The Research Assistant will work closely with senior leadership to pursue initiatives central to the firm’s growth and strategic direction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support firm leadership across a portfolio of strategic initiatives spanning research, business development, and project management
- Examine policy, corporate, and stakeholder developments to inform firm and client strategy
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and briefing materials for senior audiences
- Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and follow-up for engagements with clients and internal teams
- Maintain organized systems for tracking opportunities, contacts, and deliverables
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of firmwide strategic initiatives
- Play a central role in turning strategic concepts into operational outcomes, ensuring ideas move from design to execution with precision and purpose

COMPENSATION
- Base salary of $68,000 to $78,000 annually, depending on experience
- Baron does not sponsor work visas and requires the ability to work in-person in Washington D.C.
